FLINT CREEK DOGS | Brand Identity

Dog Training Facility, Antioch IL

Located in Antioch, IL, Flint Creek Dogs specializes in dog training. The facility houses an agility training course, dog obedience training and in the summer, a canine-only pool for water sports training and exercise.

I wanted this design to evoke a sense of playfulness while paying homage to the original color palate of the old logo. While there are elements of the usual canine associated items like bones, balls and assorted accessories, I wanted the primary glyph to represent the history of the facility. The client favored border collies and a majority of the canine clientele are herding breeds, due to the agility courses and programs offered. The typography is bold and funky, feeding into the playful, fun yet professional aspects of the services provided.
