6 months. 18 Countries. This chapter of travel has concluded. A summary of the places, people and art created during my time in Europe.

Throughout the month of November I traveled from Poland to Spain. 7 countries, 13 cities, in the span of 5 weeks. I practiced my photography and honed my typography skills in the creation of a new typeface inspired by my travels.

This past week I visited Londan, England. I visited the sights, saw great art, and reflected on how this is the halfway point for my European Adventure.

Scott embarked on a 4 year odyssey from the United States across 5 other continents on a bicycle. I reached out to him via email to share my own travel aspirations and pick his brain about travel. A few emails later and here we are. He’s going to share with you what he learned about the unexpected benefits of travel.

Travel is all about getting from point A to point B. I know, it’s not about the destination, but the journey. But arriving to your destination as stress-free as possible is something we can all get on board with.

I’ve made my way north. Copenhagen is the gateway to Scandanavia and the capital of Denmark.

I’ve ventured onto mainland Europe! From bustling Amsterdam to the flowing canals of the countryside, The Dutch know how to go with the flow.

My base of operations is in the UK! Thanks to the generosity and hospitality of friends Michael and Brian, I am residing in Glasgow, Scotland. My first week and a half have been full of exploring Glasgow’s many churches and museums and getting back into the creative rhythm.

The first country of my travels: Iceland! The land of fire and ice has earned its name. Beautiful landscapes, vibrant city streets and endless arctic summer days.
