BRAND IDENTITY: STOCK HOUSE BREWING CO.

I had the opportunity to design the brand identity for a new brewpub that's opening up on North West Ave in Wauwatosa - a suburb of Milwaukee. The two owners, Mark and Paul, approached me to do this back in mid-December. I've worked a lot previously with Paul on the branding for his small business, Fun Beer Tours, Milwaukee. The two presented solid concepts and a clear vision. When you have those two things, well that just makes my job a hell of a lot easier.

Typeface exploration

From the start the concept called for a triangular shape - whether that mimicked the shape of a house, or in earlier sketches a barn. I wanted the the type to be bold, tall, and mimic the shape of the developing logo.

FINAL BRANDING:

LOGOTYPE:

Mark and Paul were featured in the Milwaukee Journal sentianl and OnMilwaukee.
